Givens Estates, a nonprofit life plan community (continuing care retirement community) in Asheville, is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Assisted Living for 7pm-7am weekdays with rotating weekends. This is a meaningful and vital position where you positively impact the lives of our residents, visitors, and fellow team members every day. We understand the importance of a healthy work-life balance, so we collaborate with you to offer flexible scheduling where possible.

What you'll do:

  • Delivery of resident care using appropriate nursing practices
  • Administering medication
  • Documentation
  • Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for residents

What you'll need:

  • An unencumbered LPN license for the state of North Carolina
  • An ability to work with minimal direct supervision

Added plus if the candidate has:

  • 1 year of experience working with older adults
  • Supervision experience as an RN or LPN

Compensation is $28.00-$32.00 per hour, based on experience, plus a $3 - $5 per hour shift differential pay, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and our comprehensive benefits package
