Givens Highland Farms is seeking a motivated Lead Dining Server to join our dynamic Dining Services team! This role is perfect for someone looking to take the next step in their hospitality career. As the Lead Dining Server, you'll support our Dining Leadership in delivering top-notch service to our residents, visitors, and staff. In this leadership beginner role, you'll help maintain high standards while ensuring a healthy and positive work environment. What you'll do:
- Maintain responsibility for organization set-up and closing of kitchen, dish room, and the Deli
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events and functions
- Respond and answer resident concerns, requests, & questions
- Maintain sanitation & organization of all dining venues
- Make recommendations in areas which may improve level of service provided
- Responsible for the food and beverage ordering and stocking as assigned
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years progressive experience in hospitality, multi-unit, medium volume food service operations or other related fields is desired
- Previous institutional dining experience preferably in retirement community, restaurant or hotel is preferred
- High school or GED equivalent is required, while some higher education is preferred
- Classes in Hospitality Management or Culinary Management are helpful
Compensation: Hourly rate of $18.50 -$20.00 based on experience, plus our benefits.
