Givens Estates is hiring an Assistant Dining Services Director to support our Health Center and Assisted Living facilities. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the planning and directing of all activities for Dining Health Services. This oversight will ensure the Dining Services Department provides the highest quality of food service for residents, visitors, and team members in Health Services.
What you'll do:
- Oversee all Health Services Dining operations
- Monitor completion of team member work schedules while adhering to labor budgets
- Monitor team member performances and assist the Dining Services Director and Dining Services Supervisors in coaching conversations
- Support work directly related with consulting the dietician
- Maintain current documentation on all residents of Health Services in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in all Federal, State, and local inspections
- Develop annual Health Services Dining budget
- Oversee all food production
- Maintain current resident records in accordance with state guidelines
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
- Certified in ServSafe & Sanitation
- Certified Dietary Manager Certification required
- Must have, as a minimum, two years of food service supervision experience, including experience within an institutional setting including a retirement community, nursing home, or hospital
- High School completion or equivalent is preferred
- Additional technical or vocational education is desirable, but not necessary
Compensation is $70k - $75k per year, based on experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package
