Givens Gerber Park is looking for a full-time Assistant Manager to support the office and resident living duties. Reporting to the Community Manager, this position will apply knowledge of compliance requirements for the assigned property, company policies and procedures, and industry best-practices, while making demonstrated efforts to constantly strive for improvements to the property and practices that impact customer satisfaction and the delivery of quality of life for residents.

What you'll do:

  • Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to multifamily housing
  • Responsible for efforts around marketing and leasing units in a timely manner in order to maintain maximum occupancy
  • Design, build, and maintain our social media presence
  • Measure, report and optimize performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals
  • Support the Community Manager to collect, post, and deposit income in an accurate and timely manner
  • Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call accordingly
  • Greets prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, professionally presents community and specific apartments while communicating features and benefits
  • Inspects apartments including vacancies, market readies, and move-ins
  • Processes all lease applications, assists with application verification and notifies prospective residents of results
  • Maintain property operations in situations where Community Manager is absent from property
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor or Regional Manager

What you'll need:

  • 3 -5 years’ experience in property management, HUD/Tax Credit compliance, leasing or equivalent
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; Associate or higher education degree in Business Management, Human Services, Administrative Technology or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in property management or related customer service field preferred
  • Preference given for prior experience with and/or knowledge of HUD, Section 8, Tax Credit or RD programs
