Givens Highland Farms is looking for a dedicated people person to join our Lodge Team staff. Prentice Lodge offers enhanced independent living to give our residents the support they need to live their best lives. The schedule is 7:30am - 4:00pm, Mon - Friday, and working every 3rd weekend. 

This is not your typical housekeeping position. In this role, you will be working with our residents in their living areas providing services needed for them to thrive independently in their homes and community. As a Lodge Team Member, you hold a meaningful and vital position where you positively impact the lives of our residents, visitors, and fellow team members every day. 

What You'll Do:

  • Be responsible for weekly resident accommodations by performing tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, blinds, window sills, trash cans, toilets, sinks, shower, and mirrors
  • Perform daily bed making and light cleaning in each accommodation
  • Clean resident laundry as requested
  • Assist with daily continental breakfast delivery
  • Support Dining Services as needed by serving as backup with delivering meals to each resident as assigned, clearing tables at the end of meal service and meal delivery to a resident accommodation when requested
  • Daily clean common areas to include lounges, public bathrooms, Lodge Dining Room, stairways, and hallways
  • Ensure the availability of clean, habitable accommodations for incoming residents by inspecting, and reporting repairs needed when units are vacated
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of renovated units prior to new resident move in
  • Light administrative duties such as online grocery ordering for residents, curbside pickup, departmental supply ordering, and team member scheduling as needed
  • Check in on each lodge resident at the end of the scheduled shift and assist with any minor non-medical requests
  • Be conscious of all safety rules and practices and endeavor to create a safe environment for staff and residents
  • Actively participate, provide input, and support department and campus-wide meetings
  • Actively participate and accept personal responsibility to ensure the success of the Corporate Compliance Program
  • Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What You'll Need:

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day
  • Experience (6 months +) working in Environmental Services
  • Employee must have the ability and knowledge to lift and move residents safely
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 10 feet with or without a mechanical device
  • Use proper body mechanics; and be able to adapt to changing workload without interference of resident care: Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist
  • Must be able to sit approximately 25% of the time and stand for approximately 75% of the time
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Compensation is $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, plus our comprehensive benefits package!
