GitHub is seeking an experienced Sr. Director of Partner to lead our global partner organization. This is a pivotal role in the Customer Success team where you will help drive revenue and partner growth in collaboration with our sales, professional services and programs teams, supporting regional approaches and solutions that offer a global reach. Focus will be on the four core motions critical to our success: Build-with, Technical, Go To Market (GTM), and Partner Co-sell. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Partner & Expert Services.

Responsibilities:
Engagement at the very highest level of executives, building trust by sharing insights about how companies can capitalize on market opportunities by partnering with GitHub
Leading and growing our global partner team that include technical partner managers, partner developer managers, and partner directors.
Defining and communicating the partner strategy for GitHub and integrating those plans with the professional services and sales
A demonstrated track record for working and thriving within a cross-organizational team, . mobilizing the necessary people and resources, and finding consensus and mindshare in support of joint business outcomes
Develop strategic content that will allow better positioning of our partnership internally and externally, collaborating with global colleagues to find, share and repurpose approaches and materials.
Willingness to travel worldwide to meet with leaders, partners, attend events and support the team (up to 30% travel).
Position must be located near any GitHub/Microsoft Corp office (East & West Coast)
You have:
Experience working service delivery partners, resellers, and GSIs
10+ years management experience leading teams and managers
Ability to succeed and embody a growth mindset in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail plus the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and opportunities
Experience leading partner organizations for technology companies
Advantageous skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft sales approaches, roles, and go-to-market strategies
Vocabulary of SaaS software sales and product lines
Familiarity with with SFDC
Exposure to GitHub technology and vocabulary
Basic use of Markdown and Git technologies
(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $203,400 to maximum $431,600 + bonus + equity + benefits. · Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired in Colorado.
Location: In this role, you can work remotely from anywhere in the United States or onsite in one of GitHub’s U.S. offices (San Francisco, Bellevue, Raleigh)
