As a member of the security org, you will be working alongside your peers in ensuring the safety and trust of the community; specifically, by envisioning and building out the controls and systems that will allow GitHub to develop as a social network.
About The Team This is a brand-new team. As a member of the security org, you will define and drive needed change across feature teams and divisions.
Writing and reviewing front and back-end code.
Documenting the systems you help build.
Encouraging the technical growth of your peers.
Working with your team and stakeholders to define and prioritize projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2+ years experience shipping well-tested, production software.
Experience with one or more high-level programming languages.
Experience in privacy.
Experience in stream processing and data pipelines.
Experience adhering to or providing for related regulatory requirements like GDPR.
