As part of a global operations team, GitHub is looking for an Human Resources Analyst to serve as the primary manager of our HRIS, Workday. This role will support a variety of HR systems, databases, and activities that contribute to the continued evolution of the company’s workforce.
We are looking for a skilled professional with 1-3 years work experience, preferably in an HR setting. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has a passion and proven track record for solving issues in an efficient and effective manner. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve team goals are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Run routine reports and audit/monitor data to ensure accuracy
- Perform routine processes to integrate data and integrations from Workday and other business systems to support ad-hoc and scheduled reporting initiatives
- Create and execute queries utilizing various data sources to provide business information
- On/offboard employees in Workday and other business systems
- Process I9 verifications
- Manage employee compliance training
- Manage employee engagement surveys
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1- 3 years of Workday experience
- Ability to perform analyses, audit data, and create reports to identify data trends utilizing programming technologies
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and capable of working on own initiatives with limited supervision
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and to set and meet deadlines
- Discretion and confidentiality is a must
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative, distributed environment
- Thrive on finding creative solutions and adapting to constantly changing circumstances
