As part of a global operations team, GitHub is looking for an Human Resources Analyst to serve as the primary manager of our HRIS, Workday. This role will support a variety of HR systems, databases, and activities that contribute to the continued evolution of the company’s workforce.

We are looking for a skilled professional with 1-3 years work experience, preferably in an HR setting. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has a passion and proven track record for solving issues in an efficient and effective manner. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve team goals are a must.

Responsibilities:

Run routine reports and audit/monitor data to ensure accuracy
Perform routine processes to integrate data and integrations from Workday and other business systems to support ad-hoc and scheduled reporting initiatives
Create and execute queries utilizing various data sources to provide business information
On/offboard employees in Workday and other business systems
Process I9 verifications
Manage employee compliance training
Manage employee engagement surveys

Minimum Qualifications:

1- 3 years of Workday experience
Ability to perform analyses, audit data, and create reports to identify data trends utilizing programming technologies
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Attention to detail
Self-motivated and capable of working on own initiatives with limited supervision
Strong organizational skills
Effective communication & interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and to set and meet deadlines
Discretion and confidentiality is a must
Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative, distributed environment
Thrive on finding creative solutions and adapting to constantly changing circumstances
