We are looking to hire a Financial Analyst for our Strategic Finance team. The successful candidate will work with both senior leaders and individual contributors throughout the company to set our our financial and operational plans, turn those into concrete company goals, and work with each team to achieve those goals. Our ideal candidate is someone with a demonstrated background in finance, analysis of large data sets, and driving operational changes and improvements.
Responsibilities:

Analysis and insights: Develop a deep understanding of key business drivers. Conduct in-depth analyses to identify and drive financial and operational improvements for the business. Determine key metrics of success for strategic projects and key initiatives, measure progress against those metrics, and work to meet or exceed benchmarks for success.

Planning and measuring: Plan the wholistic financial trajectory of the business. Work across business units and functional groups to determine resource allocation and areas of investment to improve the company’s financial and operational performance.

Reporting and communication: Define and provide visibility into key business metrics for business leaders as well as the broader team. Become the point person for the metrics that drive each business unit and functional group.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Work Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably at a leading investment bank, VC/PE firm, or other fast growing SaaS business.

Technical Experience: Significant experience turning large data sets into sophisticated financial models. SQL experience is a big plus.

Business Intuition: Solid understanding of the key drivers of a SaaS business.

Self Starter Mentality: Proactive thinker determined to build processes that scale where none exist. Comfortable with high levels of ambiguity and lack of documentation.

Communication Skills: Distill and simplify complex financial concepts for all audiences.
