We’re looking for a Business Development Representative eager to build a career in sales. In this entry-level role, you will serve as the architect of opportunity, sculpting new pathways for growth and transformation. If you love live entertainment and have an innate ability to translate that passion into tangible results, then we want you to join our team. 

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities and driving the sales process from lead identification, outreach, and qualification. This is a high-impact role with the potential to grow into an Account Executive role in the long term. Sales experience is optional.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business leads and relationships via outbound cold calling, emails, pre-existing contacts, and door-to-door in hospitality venues
  • Qualify leads to make sure they fit our ideal customer profile (ICP)
  • Secure meetings with potential clients for Account Executives 
  • Hit and exceed KPIs for appointment setting and pitch completion
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the music and hospitality industries in your designated region(s)
  • Strive to represent the company positively at all times through personal presentation, client communication and attentiveness, and public-facing etiquette (social media)

Qualifications:

  • Must be based in Austin, TX
  • 1-2 years of work experience preferred 
  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems preferred (Salesforce) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A self-starter and go-getter with a great work ethic
  • Excellent time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • A charismatic and outgoing personality - someone who loves meeting new people and building relationships
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule to meet decision-makers when they’re most available
  • Experience in music/entertainment, hospitality, and/or field sales roles is a plus

Compensation:

Pay for this position is comprised of a base salary plus commission. Total OTE is approximately $60,000 to $85,000.
