As the Quality Assurance Testing Lead, you will play a central role in the SAP Employee Central implementation project, contributing to the seamless operation of our HR systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the system by developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP Employee Central / SuccessFactors and a strong commitment to delivering an efficient HR solution that aligns with our commitment to the financial well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy and plan for the SAP Employee Central implementation, considering functional, performance, and integration testing.
  • Test Case Development: Create detailed test cases and scenarios to validate system functionality, data integrity, and user acceptance, working in close collaboration with the Human Resource Subject Matter Experts.
  • Test Execution: Lead and manage the testing process, including test execution, defect tracking, and reporting, ensuring all project milestones are met.  Work in close collaboration with Global Atlantic IT organization and the Employee Central implementation partner.
  • Defect Management: Collaborate with the project team to identify and document defects, track their resolution, and ensure timely retesting.
  • Test Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency.
  • Test Documentation: Maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular status reports to project stakeholders, keeping them informed about the testing progress, issues, and risks.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Facilitate and support UAT activities, ensuring that end-users are engaged in the testing process and validating the system meets their requirements.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer: Train and mentor Human Resources and other project team members on testing best practices, SAP Employee Central functionality, and QA methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Testing Lead in SAP Employee Central or similar HR software implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Employee Central or related HRIS software systems.
  • Proficiency in test planning, test case development, and test execution.
  • Experience with test automation tools and methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding project teams with limited testing experience through the user acceptance testing process.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Contract Details:

  • This is a 12-month contract position based in the Hartford, CT office.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
