Position Description:
Are you someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty under the hood of a car? Are you an
experienced automotive technician who is passionate about servicing vehicles? At gettacar,
we’re looking to add an Automotive Technician to our reconditioning team. This candidate will
be responsible for the general and preventative maintenance on all of our vehicles.
We’ll count on you to:
●Perform general automotive services on vehicles, including, but not limited to, brake/rotor services, changing/rotating tires, engine tune ups, electrical work, oil changes and replacing filters, and other fixtures
●Carefully inspect and test drive vehicles for full recondition repair
●Check vehicles for any cosmetic wear and missing or damaged parts
●Identify maintenance issues by using diagnostic tools
●Work collaboratively with the parts department to order the necessary equipment
●Conduct quality technician work for vehicles to maintain functionality and longevity

Skills & Qualifications:
●3-5+ years of auto tech experience in a reconditioning center or dealership
●Automotive trade certificate or ASE certification preferred, not required
●Ability to collaborate with other team members in a fast paced work environment
●Must have own basic tool box set (scanner, brake tools, sockets, power/air tools)
●Valid driver's license with clean driving record
●Ability to lift up to 50+ Ibs
