About GenScript ProBio
GenScript ProBio is the subsidiary of GenScript Biotech Corporation, proactively providing end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. GenScript ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, GenScript ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. It is also the first GMP manufacturing platform to provide in vitro transcription (IVT) template linearized plasmids for mRNA vaccines and has supported several mRNA vaccine global enterprises to obtain clinical approvals. In terms of viral vector service, GenScript ProBio has a stable and high-yield viral vector platform.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Capex procurement.
- Responsible for purchasing and cost reduction initiatives.
- Internal/External customer focus to address issues.
- Implement negotiations and contracts, collaborating with the relevant partners to optimize terms, cost and deliverables, ensuring the quality of service/ goods, and mitigating risks.
- Maintain reationships with key functional managers and their teams to ensure understanding of their needs and to facilitate the appropriate level of challenge.
- Responsible for MSA, annual contract, and bid management.
- Comply with global procurement standard operating procedures, policies and file system.
- Review supplier performance against contracted obligations, service levels and business requirements.
- Maintain material code and other configuration in ERP/SAP, S2P programs.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Souring or Buyer.
- Knowledge of bidding procedures and criteria.
- Strong communication, influencing, collaboration skills.
- Strong contract management and negotiations skills
- Strong Project and change management capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to expertly present sophisticated information.
- Ability to continuously improve working efficiency.
- Excellent computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiar with ERP/SAP system.
- Experience in working with multi-cultural teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GMP Biopharma manufacturing purchasing experience desirable
- Experience with contract development and execution
- Data-driven decision maker
