The role: QA and Reliability Engineer
We are looking for QA and Reliability Engineers to join our Data Products group, which produces and delivers cutting-edge sports data driving team success and innovative fan experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop tests and testing infrastructure; ensure adequate test coverage of our software systems and products
- Improve observability by building and maintaining dashboards showing logs, metrics, and alerts
- Help with release processes, including reviewing release notes, testing, and troubleshooting issues that arise
- Work with product stakeholders to resolve customer questions and issues in a timely manner
- Identify repeat issues and update support playbooks to improve efficiency of future issue resolution
- Track and communicate quality metrics; improve the quality of our products by identifying areas for improvement
Requirements
- Programming experience in Typescript, Python, Rust or C++
- Team-first and product-oriented mindset
- Flexibility and availability for work on call, outside of regular work hours, as needed to support live sports
Nice to haves
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Docker, Kubernetes, CI, AWS, databases
- Experience in software or data QA
