The Role

As a Technical QA Lead you will be managing QAs across multiple development teams. You will be responsible for driving, evaluating and enhancing quality processes to ensure product quality is continually improving. At Genius Sports testing and software quality is the responsibility of the whole team. This empowers the team’s QA engineer to focus on testing and not just checking if the functionality works. You must possess outstanding communication and social skills with both customers and colleagues in your team, be self-motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision.

Main Responsibilities

  • Quality Assistance – mentoring teams on how to deliver high quality software products
  • Coaching QAs and developers best testing practices 
  • Driving quality strategy for teams 
  • Involvement in analysis of requirements from internal and external customers
  • Risk Management – Identifying, mitigating and resolving business and technical risks
  • Raise overall visibility of quality 
  • Defining group level standards as a part of quality leadership team
  • Close collaboration with tech management (Delivery Leads and Delivery Managers) to achieve software delivery with quality in mind
  • Develop, update, and maintain automation testing standards and procedures to support software testing objectives

Required Skills

  • Solid commercial QA experience in Agile environment
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools
  • Performance testing experience is a big plus 
  • Strong leadership, communication and organization skills, with a positive attitude to teamwork and collaboration
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
  • Able to quickly develop a deep understanding of the applications and their supporting systems
  • Must be a self-starter, quick learner, attentive to details, able to multi-task, and have excellent initiative

We Offer

For this position we offer gross salary starting from 5000 EUR/month, depending on your level of experience.
