The Role:

This role is working in a fast-paced commercial environment, you will be tasked with account management and sales duties across the partnership space. The role is responsible for delivering revenue across the international portfolio of Genius Sports partners. Working in collaboration with regional commercial heads this role requires someone who excels at communicating with both internal stakeholders as well as potential external partners, contributing in all stages of the sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution through to ongoing account management. For this role we need someone who is currently in a cross-platform B2B sales role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with clients at all levels 
  • To account manage existing clients while proactively sourcing new business
  • Identify new sectors and opportunities to grow revenue 
  • Manage and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for indirect sales channels 
  • Collaborate with Marketing to generate demand 
  • Review existing processes to onboard partners across all channels and collaborate with GTM operations and Customer Success to refine processes as required 
  • Report on Channel Sales numbers 
  • Progressively adapt and evolve the partner strategy and execution, taking a data-driven approach and collaborating with key stakeholders across Sales, Product and Genius Sports leadership 
  • Represent our joint product and solution with customers, partners as a thought-leader and subject matter expert
  • Identifying opportunities across the partner estate, qualifying complex bids and acting as subject matter expert on everything Genius Sports for the partner
  • Facilitating the execution of the sales strategy by bringing together multiple external and internal teams & functions
  • Driving presentations, webinars, engagements for the partner and their prospects/customers as the thought leader from Genius Sports.
  • Build and maintain a database of the B2B Partnership landscape globally

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years’ experience within B2B sales, Partnership Management and/or account management
  • Existing experience selling Technology/ SaaS/ Data
  • Someone who has come from a target driven environment
  • A new business hunter mentality 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organisation and disciplined 
  • Ideally someone who is passionate about Sport
  • Experience of managing partner relationships with the ability to balance both the commercial and relationship aspects of the engagement
  • Business Development experience (launching a new product and new partnerships) & Product mindset 
  • Proven ability to engage and influence partner organisations 
  • Able to multitask and manage several partner relationships 
  • Strong negotiation skills 
  • Ability to partner and work in a co-selling environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others
  • Experience in defining and executing on GTM strategy with partners
