Genius is searching for a Senior Account Director that will be responsible for selling a mix of premium video, events, and media on Genius.com – driving the long-term vision and success of Genius monetization.

Through our original content, technology, and live & virtual experiences, Genius spotlights the artists who are shaping music culture across every genre and musical discipline, sharing the stories behind their creativity and craft in their own words with over 105M+ people each month on Genius.com and everywhere music fans connect across the internet.
Build new and nurture existing relationships to create a sales pipeline that can allow you to hit quarterly and annual target goals through custom programs, video, display, social and programmatic offerings.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of a branded content pitch and sales cycle.
The ideal candidate is creative, tenacious, organized and has a strong work ethic. Proven track record in prospecting,cultivating and closing new business
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7+ years of branded content, experiential and social media experience
Proven track record in exceeding quotas
Relationships within the Midwest media community - preferably cpg and automotive
Desire to work in fast-paced and deadline driven environment
