Genius is searching for a Senior Account Director that will be responsible for selling a mix of premium video, events, and media on Genius.com – driving the long-term vision and success of Genius monetization.

This is a remote role but this person will be responsible for client relationships within Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage new and existing relationships to create and execute a sales pipeline in 2021
  • Manage current client and agency relationships and build new relationships with prospective clients
  • Utilize a full suite of product offerings to close business including branded content, video, media and experiential
  • Meet/exceed revenue goals on quarterly and annual targets 
  • Prepare weekly sales pipeline reports

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of media sales experience meeting and/or exceeding quotas
  • Proven track record in selling custom content on the publisher side
  • Relationships within the LA Media community
  • Exceptional client relationship and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross departmentally to ensure the success of client programs
  • “Win-Win” attitude with a hunger to meet and exceed goals
  • Desire to work in fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Established client relationships within the LA region
  • Strong Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Keynote skillset
  • Bachelor’s degree
