Genies is culture’s avatar technology company empowering developers and artists to create their own interoperable gamified consumer experiences. The company has raised $250 million from investors including Silver Lake, BOND, NEA, and Bob Iger. Initially, Genies were adopted by thousands of Hollywood icons including Justin Bieber and Rihanna through partnerships with Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group. Today, the company is also delivering avatars to the masses through experiences built with its Developer Kit and artist crowdsourced platform, The Workshop. These experiences all integrate together to form one avatar social network, Genies Party.

Genies is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Developer Platform Team. In this role, the TPM will oversee the various stages of product development from planning, to implementation and deployment. The Developer Platform is at the heart of Genies’ mission to build an interoperable Avatar network, and the products we build form the foundations on which internal and external developers build their avatar-based experiences and products.

This is a high-visibility role with a broad area of ownership, requiring strong leadership and collaboration skills combined with product sense and technical expertise. The role reports to the Director of Engineering, and can be seated in either our SF Bay Area office (San Mateo) or Los Angeles based HQ.
