If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!We’re looking for a Studio Manager/Resource Librarian to join our team. This position is an ambassador for geniant.
The Studio Manager/Resource Librarian supports the staff from design to administration, making sure everything runs smoothly. This position is expected to split their time between overseeing our resource library and the administrative functions of being the Studio Manager. This individual is extremely organized, collaborative, and communicative.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Resource Library:
- Ensure the Resource Library is neat and items are filed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Send out excess library samples offsite.
- Return Material Bank samples.
- File product samples from return cart to designated spaces in the library.
- Place product sample orders as staff requests.
- Clean out the finish drawers for any completed projects.
- Continually evaluate useful materials and rotate new materials into the library.
- Replace project imagery on the board with new and relevant materials.
- Meet with reps for product updates.
- Operations:
- Maintain all COI documents.
- Distribute and send mail and packages.
- Maintain the image of the studio/bar by keeping common areas (kitchen/bar/deck/meeting rooms) clean and organized.
- Unload the dishwasher every morning and run the dishwasher every evening
- Stock the kitchen/bar/bathrooms when needed.
- Order supplies for the Studio.
- Maintain master document retention list and coordinate archival of records with off-site provider.
- Maintain grill.
- Schedule rep updates and presentations.
- Hospitality:
- Ensure the Studio is welcoming to guests by answering phones and directing calls and greeting guests when they arrive.
- Work with leaders and staff to plan and coordinate client and staff events (may involve evening work).
- Set-up client meeting space to ensure everything is ready and working properly.
- Plan and coordinate parties and happy hour events
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred
- 1-3 years previous office management/administration experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient with Google Sheets and Docs and Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Able to work events after hours if needed
