JOB SUMMARY

Implement and continually improve HR processes that support high performance, enhance the safety and well-being of our employees, and promote Genezen’s values. Oversee the ongoing effort to attract and retain an exceptional workforce, maintaining strong communication within the company, fostering a positive employee experience, and cultivating employee engagement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Implement and oversee recruitment, hiring, and retention practices:
    • Coordinate with management to identify staffing needs, develop and maintain hiring timeline and organizational charts, and create/update job descriptions
    • Manage recruiting procedures and hiring practices within Applicant Tracking System
    • Oversee all employee preboarding, onboarding, and offboarding procedures
    • Maintain the hiring, culture, and benefits sections of the website
  • Develop, implement, and enforce human resource policies and procedures
  • Manage employee benefits and payroll strategy and procedures:
    • Establish and maintain company salary structure and oversee administration of bonuses and pay raises
    • Work with HR Generalist to track non-exempt employee timesheets and process bimonthly payroll with Insperity
    • Review benefits program, compare to national and local benchmarks, and make recommendations to management
    • Coordinate and perform all necessary Open Enrollment and other benefits-related communications in collaboration with Insperity
  • Develop employee performance management program using Insperity’s Premier Performance platform
  • Manage employee communication and feedback and inform management of problems that are not being addressed adequately or which jeopardize the ability of Genezen to achieve its key objectives
  • Assist Quality Assurance and departmental managers in establishing employee training initiatives
  • Hire, recruit, coach, and ensure appropriate provision of training for direct reports:
    • Set expectations and objectives
    • Enforce company policies and deal with personnel issues promptly
    • Evaluate talent and oversee performance management practices
  • Report periodically or as requested to management regarding HR
  • Foster company culture and employee relations practices necessary to establish high employee morals and employer-employee relationship
  • Stay educated on employment legal developments and coordinate with PEO (Insperity) to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Ensure safe working environment and compliance with OSHA, EHS, Quality, and cGMP procedures and policies within the HR functional area
