JOB SUMMARY

Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to execute the daily functions of the HR department including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, and enforcing company policies and practices. This person is an enthusiastic representative and promoter of Genezen’s culture and employee experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work with Director of HR to meet recruiting requirements, led by organization plans and objectives, including exploring and implementing various recruiting sources, keeping job descriptions up to date, post jobs in Genezen’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS), screening resumes, performing initial HR screen interviews, and other recruiting responsibilities
  • Help arrange on-site interviews through ATS by coordinating schedules, communicating travel and interview details with candidates, communicating interview details with internal team, preparing onsite location, and escorting applicants to interviews
  • Assist Director of HR with executing employee preboarding and onboarding procedures, including generating official internal documents, planning for start dates, and educating new employees on policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with PEO (Insperity) to administer benefit programs to employees
  • Help with other HR administrative functions like standard documentation practices, employee surveys, planning company events, preparing spaces, ordering food, cleaning up, etc.
  • Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and helping conduct training
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES

Essential/Desired

BS or equivalent in in Human Resources, Business, or related field

General knowledge of relevant employment laws and practices

ON-THE-JOB EXPERIENCE

 

2-4 years of experience in other HR position(s) or equivalent

1-2 years of exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously

Demonstrated experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
