As we grow to achieve our mission, we’re looking for passionate Full-Stack Software Engineers to help us tackle social challenges on a global scale using technology. You will work with talented developers in Mexico City using the latest technologies. You will work with a cutting edge tech stack along with first class testing, deployment and tooling. You will use digital to tackle social challenges on a global scale that has never been done before.

To be successful you'll need:

  • To live and breathe the principles of user-centric design
  • Experience applying them to digital experiences of one sort or another
  • Willingness to explain those principles - patiently! - and coach others in how to adopt and institutionalize them
  • Personas. Many personas. Detailed, loving, infuriating personas.
  • Hands-on experience with user-research & user-testing, and using it to constantly improve a product or experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in U/X Design or a similar role
  • University degree or equivalent work experience in design or human-factors
  • Existing portfolio of past designs that you are comfortable presenting
  • Sharp skills with the tools of the trade. Whichever you love. (Sketch or Adobe CS,  InVision or Marvel… whatever gets the job done is fine with us.)
  • Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human-Computer Interaction
  • Ability to clearly discuss and explain design options
  • Experience working in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment (e.g., Agile)
  • Comfortable working with a diverse, multi-functional team of software engineers, product owners, and project managers
  • Proficient in English (reading and speaking)
  • Hunger to constantly improve yourself and your team

What you'll do:

  • Evaluate and optimize our existing designs
  • Help us design and implement an entire new ecosystem of digital experiences for our students, staff, sponsors, and employers
  • Create personas so we can all better understand our users and then design products that will delight them
  • Conduct user testing and then show us how to improve
  • Create and implement interaction models, user flows, and UI specifications
  • Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs with other members of the team
  • Help us grow our design team over time, to match our needs
  • Work in a tight-knit environment where you will not only learn, but also teach what you know
