Summer Investment Analyst, Class of 2024

General Atlantic’s London based investment teams are looking for Summer Investment Analysts to join a 10-week summer program. Summer Investment Analysts will work closely with the deal teams and have significant responsibility supporting our new investment opportunities, conducting research and due diligence, and supporting deal execution across all our main sectors.

In this role, Summer Investment Analysts will:

  • Learn how analysts develop investment theses and industry experience through market mapping, research, and due diligence
  • Build financial models and valuation analyses
  • Discover how customer analytics, portfolio company engagement, and deal judgment add value to the GA process
  • Provide sourcing, prospecting, and diligence support via quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Present a company/industry deep dive at the end of your summer

Students graduating in 2024 or Spring/Summer 2025 are invited to apply if they:

  • Are currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate institution
  • Have a proven track record of achievement in academic and other settings
  • Possess excellent Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Possess basic quantitative and qualitative knowledge and skills
  • Have a global mindset and an interest in collaborating with colleagues across GA offices
  • Have an interest in growth equity and a desire to represent the firm in conversations with founders and entrepreneurs
  • Have a fierce interest in companies and understanding how to grow them
  • Show intellectual curiosity and are willing to go the extra mile
  • Are creative and solutions oriented
  • Are a strong written and verbal communicator
  • Are energetic and passionate about contributing to a team
