General Assembly is seeking a hungry, performance-based marketer to take our affiliate program to the next level. As the Affiliate Marketing Manager, you will own the end-to-end management of the affiliate channel, including recruiting, onboarding, relationship management, promotion and compensation of a growing list of partners. Reporting to the VP, Acquisition Marketing, you will set the strategy for our affiliate program and help diversify our marketing mix. This could include launching an influencer program, testing a referral program, and implementing a platform to support this channel as a growth engine. Nurture and deepen relationships with existing partners to drive high quality lead growth
Source, develop, negotiate, and launch new partnership opportunities that align with our brand
Work with cross functional teams like legal, creative, product, and tech for growth opportunities
Report on channel performance and leverage data to prioritize internal work to expand programs
Manage all operations supporting each relationship: troubleshooting and ensuring data syncs, setting up and updating tracking links, sharing brand-approved creative assets, enforcing term compliance, processing invoices etc.
3-4 years of experience with affiliate and/or partner marketing
Highly skilled at pitching, negotiating, and relationship building
Analytical mindset with an understanding of acquisition funnel and performance marketing KPI’s
Budgeting and forecasting experience
Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
Nice to have: experience working with or implementing a platform like Impact, Rakuten, CJ, etc
