We’re hiring a Head of Learning that will set the vision and be accountable for the quality of GA’s learning experiences, starting before students even set foot (or eyeballs) into a classroom all the way through their post-course programming. The ideal candidate will be an expert in creating and delivering world class adult learning, and skilled in building digital products or in business management.

You will:

  • Set the vision for world class learning
  • Be accountable for the learning quality of all students
  • Ensure GA continues to build the highest quality curriculam
  • Lead our instructor management, instructional design and digital learning product management teams
  • Identify our biggest opportunities to improve, and build compelling cases for initiatives that elevate our student and instructor experiences
  • Shape the way we evolve our technology systems, including student information, learning and content platforms
  • Inspire our worldwide network of instructors and subject matter experts
  • Inspire our employees with the innovation in how we teach
  • Work closely with fellow leaders to set the company’s strategy and roadmap
  • Be a senior leader at GA, reporting to the Co-COO

Who you are:

  • An expert in creating and delivering world class adult learning for both in-person and remote audiences. You almost certainly were a teacher or instructor earlier in your career
  • Adept in one of:
    • Building digital products - you are comfortable with the full digital product development lifecycle, including shaping requirements, working across business stakeholders, designers and software engineers, and testing products
    • Business management - you have built data driven investment cases, made data-driven decisions, raised funding and/or managed budgets, and have managed business operations
  • An experienced people manager
  • An inspiring leader and public speaker
  • An impeccable communicator in email, chat, slides or documents
  • Comfortable prioritizing and deprioritizing
  • Experienced in navigating a complex business with 500+ employees
  • Passionate about providing quality employment on-ramps in our rapidly changing world
