The Community Manager is our on-the-ground leader and raises local brand awareness and engagement to fuel market expansion by developing strategic partnerships and grassroots marketing initiatives. The local leader will represent GA in the community and be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and production of an ongoing schedule of diverse educational programming, including classes, workshops, and events.
Duties & Responsibilities
Identify relevant new audiences and determine most impactful ways to drive engagement
Develop and implement a prospecting strategy for growing and nurturing our partner network, including influential instructors and leaders in tech, data, design, and business
Plan and execute impactful in-person events to position GA as a community thought-leader
Be an active networker in the community, regularly identifying key activities (meetups, tech events, etc.) and representing or attending on behalf of GA
Host and lead in-person information sessions to promote remote programs and courses
Tracking and reporting on all metrics required to meet monthly acquisition targets
Requirements & Qualifications
3+ years of event marketing and production experience
Strong familiarity with local tech scene and startup community
Master networker and connector, with proven business development results
Entrepreneurial self-starter who thrives in fast-paced (and changing) environments
Results-driven and solution-focused attitude; passionate about daily growth
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
