The Role

Genba is looking for a teammate who can bring strategic thought, ownership and solid execution to the demand generation function in this unique B2B industry. This critical role will propel Genba through our first $1M, $5M and $10M of revenue. Your key objective is to deliver a high volume of qualified leads for our sales team. Because Genba is a small, agile and innovative company, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success and Product teams to align and optimize messaging and tactics across the customer journey. This position reports to the CEO of Genba. 

What You’ll Do

  • Own all demand generation programs across digital, non-digital and product-led channels to drive enterprise MQLs and sales pipeline
  • Design, launch and optimize outbound campaigns across email, social media, paid/organic search, and display ad channels
  • Experiment with and optimize novel campaigns, documenting learnings and transferring knowledge to other stakeholders
  • Spearhead and test innovative marketing tactics unique to the industrial manufacturing industry (ex. Reddit communities) 
  • Develop compelling messaging and voice across all channels
  • Curate and project manage content creation which will feed your own campaigns 
  • Build and optimize prospect lists with and for the Sales team
  • Be a lead generation thought leader, providing insight and information on the latest approaches, best practices and KPIs for B2B marketing
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on product-led growth strategies

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of full-time B2B marketing/demand gen experience
  • Tactical, hands-on experience designing, implementing and tracking enterprise-level demand generation programs
  • Direct experience or familiarity with the manufacturing space or related industries
  • Must be a self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines
  • Bonus points for startup experience or other high growth environments
  • Bonus points for product-led marketing experience
