Are you interested in working on bleeding edge sensing technologies used by the some of the world’s best companies?

GelSight is building a platform to digitize touch, the next critical mode of machine intelligence. The next wave of artificial Intelligence must build on the existing human-like vision and listening capabilities, and GelSight is digitizing what only humans can interpret through touching and feeling with their hands. GelSight has pioneered technology to provide extremely detailed and rapid surface characterization, enabling users to finally characterize touch in a meaningful way across various applications in aerospace, automotive, forensics, robotics, and more.

Our company has recently received recognition for its innovation in tactile intelligence from Hexagon, winning its Sixth Sense open innovation platform, which nurtures start-ups creating solutions to pressing manufacturing challenges. GelSight continues to hit new milestones with the launch of the GelSight Mini, a superhuman resolution tactile sensor for robotics, R&D, academics, and hobbyists, as well as theGelSight Mobile 3.2 software update, which adds an AI toolbox to our portable system for surface metrology and texture understanding. In support of this growth, we are looking to add a field application engineer to our team.
