As the SEM Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and management of all PPC, display, and paid social campaigns for Gather’s event management platform as well as our venue marketplace site.
This role reports to the Director of Demand Generation.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage two SEM accounts across Google, Bing, Yahoo (Gather’s SaaS product and our venue marketplace, EVENTup.com)
Manage paid listings across software directories
Manage retargeting campaigns across search, display, and social
Optimize accounts to maximize inbound lead volume while maintaining efficiency metrics such as CPC, CPA, CTR, etc.
A/B test ads and landing pages across search and display network
Develop creative strategies for capturing more search market share
Collaborate with various teams (product marketing, content, marketing operations, etc.) to develop a cohesive paid media strategy while garnering product/audience insights to utilize across PPC campaigns
What you should bring:
2+ years of search marketing experience (preferably in B2B SaaS or B2C marketplaces)
Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on Google Analytics and Excel
Experience managing a large-scale account with thousands of keywords
Marketo/Salesforce knowledge (or related Marketing/CRM tool)
Experience with landing page builder tools such as Unbounce or Instapages
Aptitude for launching a PPC account from the ground up
Experience creating, executing, and managing paid social campaigns (LinkedIn, Facebook/IG, Twitter)
General knowledge and understanding of SEO (bonus points if you have experience with SEMrush, ahrefs, Screaming Frog)
General website knowledge (WordPress, HTML, CSS)
Knowledge of the hospitality and events industry or marketing to a related audience
