Founded by Katie Hall and Tom Steyer, Galvanize invests across asset classes including venture capital and growth equity, public equities, and real estate. Role

The Investor Partnerships team leads fundraising and investor relations across asset classes for Galvanize. The team maintains relationships with prospective and current Limited Partners (LPs) globally on behalf of the firm. We are seeking an Analyst wanting to expand their knowledge of climate-focused investments and the fundraising operations of a growing and new investment platform. Responsibilities of the Analyst will be the “right hand” for the Regional Lead in EMEA, and revolve around two primary types of work: 

Project Management:

  • Manage and input Salesforce data for LPs based in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (“EMEA”) 
  • Manage Capital Raise tracker for EMEA based LPs 
  • Track investor progress for EMEA based LPs
  • Create meeting preparation materials for EMEA based LPs
  • Help drive capital commitments from LPs in EMEA to Galvanize Climate Solutions’ investment products in coordination with Regional Lead

 

LP Dialogue and Communications:

  • While partnering with the EMEA Regional Lead, this individual will be accountable for the successful delivery of meaningful LP and prospect correspondence, quarterly updates, LP Advisory Committees, fund announcements, and information requests
  • In coordination with the EMEA lead, ensure LP satisfaction, with an eye towards effective relationship management and future re-up commitments
  • Work with EMEA lead to establish brand awareness in the EMEA LP community for Galvanize Climate Solutions as the best-in-class climate investment firm, while being a thought partner to LPs
  • Depending on experience, lead certain LP relationships in EMEA, or grow to lead LP relationships

The Analyst, Investor Relations will report to Investor Partnerships Regional Lead (EMEA) and collaborate with broader Investor Partnerships team members, based in New York and San Francisco, as well as numerous teams across the organization including the investment teams, Finance, and Legal. 

This is a unique opportunity for a fundraising professional who wants to apply their exceptional relationship cultivation and sales skills as a “force for good”, and sees the climate imperative as a significant investment thematic. This role will also appeal to those with an entrepreneurial mentality, who want to be part of a dynamic, fast growing firm with an expanding product set.

Travel may be required in order to meet fundraising objectives, mostly within the EMEA region. When not traveling, all colleagues in the London office are typically in the office at least four days per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of full time work experience. 
  • Proven experience in investor relations, investing, clean energy, climate advocacy, strategy consulting, investment banking.
