About The Role

The Sr. Manager, Employee Success will be responsible for the strategic and tactical HR support for the growth and expansion of G2’s APAC region (India and Singapore). Reporting to the Head of India and dotted line to the Director, People Ops, this role will partner with senior leadership, managers and colleagues to build a collaborative and performance-driven culture. The Sr Manager will support the APAC region to include India and Singapore from both a Business Partner and a People Operations perspective and this is a Bengaluru based job. 

Responsibility Area: Partner with leadership to provide, guidance and support on people related initiatives and issues 

  • Own the Business Partner relationship with APAC managers and leaders on a broad range of people related topics and HR policy and procedures while maintaining a people-first, business focused approach. 
  • Coach and mentor people managers to become high performing organization leaders 
  • Leverage data to identify trends to propose and implement solutions on various people related issues to drive talent density for the region. 
  • Think multiple steps ahead; prepare for potential problems and know when to escalate. 
  • Conduct investigations in a timely manner 

Responsibility Area: Drive and support company wide Employee Success initiatives and programs 

  • Collaborate with members of the Employee Success team to ensure cohesive delivery of events, programs and services. 
  • Create rapport with employees at all levels, building trust and lead with empathy and our company values. 
  • Use metrics and key findings around employee engagement and satisfaction to support retention and employee growth. 
  • Support company wide initiatives including employee onboarding, engagement, conduct grow and exit interviews, review interview and Voice of the Employee data to drive solutions
  • Work with the Total Rewards leader to drive transparency in compensation and benefits , and ensure what we offer to our employees and candidates is in line with the market 
  • Create awareness and drive compliance to policies and processes within the region 

Responsibility Area: Support People Operations globally and ensure compliance with local/country guidelines 

  • Provide oversight and compliance for all workforce requirements 
  • Proactively improve, implement and automate People processes to achieve scale in our rapidly-growing organization and an efficient self-service experience for employees 
  • Serve as a participant and collaborator with projects, initiatives and programs with the Global Employee Success Team including but not limited to annual handbook review, salary review/analysis, performance reviews, etc. 

Responsibility Area: Manage the APAC POPs team and provide governance and support to the APAC region 

  • Develop, lead and manage our high performing People Operations APAC ES Team (this includes both direct and dotted line reports), providing guidance and support to help individual achieve their goals 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, keeping on top of changing regulations and that impact the APAC team. 
  • Develop, review and maintain HR policies and procedures that are clear, concise, and up-to-date
  • Partner closely with HRIS, payroll, finance, legal, and other Employee Success team members to build a global and efficient operation that includes driving initiatives and projects to streamline processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience of Human Resources experience 
  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization and build collaborative relationships 
  • Naturally curious problem solver, well-organized, and a strong communicator 
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information 
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations and best practices 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment (involving diverse cultures and different geographies) with high volume workload and strong deliverables 
  • Proven success to lead a team of high performing HR/People Operations teams 

What Can Help Your Application Stand Out:

  • International experience across continents and cultures is strongly preferred. 
  • Prior experience in a start up or high growth company. 
  • Experience running a service or support center. 
  • Proficient with Gsuite and Google platform (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets), ZenDesk and HRIS systems.
