About the Role:

The G2 Data Solutions team is looking for an ambitious, consultative seller to join as one of the first AEs on the team. As a result, you’re encouraged to think creatively and be comfortable working cross functionally within internal stakeholders. G2 Data Solutions has seen tremendous client growth - most notably, Buy-Side Investors, Investment Banks, and Management Consultants - and  you will have the unique opportunity to establish relationships with a focus on closing new business. 

If you love the idea of working with the world’s market movers, helping to accelerate & scale a growing business, and have had experience selling data solutions to financial services clients, we’d love to have you on our team! 

Responsibilities:

  • Sales: Own new business quota for Data Solutions vertical
  • Collaborate with internal resources to tell data-driven stories
  • Drive urgency with prospects and help them see value in G2’s data
  • Advocate for Data Solutions needs with internal stakeholders
  • Manage customer expectations and escalations
  • Drive executive engagement and sponsorship on key accounts

Desired Skills:

  • 3+ yrs related experience in a full-time quota-carrying role
  • Experience selling DaaS or into the Financial Services vertical 
  • Excellent Story-Telling & Communication skills
  • Strategic internal collaboration 
  • Experience with SFDC
  • Fast learner and ready to take on data challenges
  • Highly-organized individual with great attention to detail
  • Consultative approach to selling
