About The Role

The marketing technology landscape has rapidly grown in the past decade, increasing from a handful of solutions in 2011 to thousands by 2021. This trend and rise in technology has shifted the focus of traditional marketing and required marketers to embrace the growing digital landscape.  

As a Marketing Technology Manager, you will own G2’s Martech stack, oversee data maintenance, empower marketers to get the most out of their tools, and serve as a crucial link between marketing and IT. You will be the liaison that translates G2’s marketing vision into successful technology implementation and execution. You will collaborate with the other marketing teams to learn and understand their pain points and needs, and you will be the enforcer for best practice when it comes to data architecture and management. In which case, you must be able to work closely with cross-functional teams. You also should work well under pressure and have superb communication skills that can bridge gaps between teams that are sometimes not speaking the same language.

In this role, you will: 

  • Own G2’s Martech stack, including HubSpot, CaliberMind, Asana, Ahrefs, Canva, Madkudu, Hyperise, Engagio, Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Alyce, and Buzzsumo, to name a few.

  • Oversee training of marketing software and user adoption by developing playbooks, launch strategies, and LMS courses.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand pain points and needs, and be their advocate for product enhancement. 

  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance, and oversee implementation of any new technologies. 

  • Recommend improvements to the data architecture for marketing systems, and conduct necessary maintenance to keep the CRMs clean. 

  • Develop best practices for using key marketing systems and managing data. 

  • Manage and build integrations between marketing systems. 

  • Collaborate with Marketing Automation Specialists and Data Analysts to manage CRM data, campaign reporting, and dashboards. 

  • Partner with Sales Operations and Sales Enablement to create transparency and alignment between marketing and sales technologies.

  • Partner with IT and legal to manage data security.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing.

  • HubSpot certified and proficient in using HubSpot.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, and a desire to improve processes. 

  • Technically capable, great troubleshooter, and an excellent communicator.
