At FutureHouse, we are using AI to automate the process of scientific discovery. The systems we are building will allow humanity to proceed as quickly as possible to find cures for disease, solutions for climate change, and to other species-accelerating technologies.
We are seeking to recruit the most creative, most ambitious, and most productive software engineers in the world to rapidly implement and iterate on new ideas for applying AI to accelerate science. Candidates must be programming wizards, who are motivated to move fast and solve important problems.
This role is based in our San Francisco, CA office.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as part of a team with other members of technical staff to implement new AI systems that can solve important scientific problems.
- Come up with new ideas, identify and resolve challenges, and figure out how to maximize performance across a wide range of benchmarks.
Requirements:
- Strong foundation in computer science.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, and open to mastering new technologies as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to solve challenging problems and implement solutions efficiently.
- Experience with machine learning models and data pipeline architectures is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
