Role: Co-Founder / Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Role Overview:

As the co-founder / Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) your will be the key driver of growth and revenue of this new venture. You will collaborate closely with the leadership team to identify and secure key accounts while spearheading strategic initiatives. Your primary focus will be on forging strategic channel partnerships, opening new avenues for business development. We are seeking a visionary candidate with a CIO mindset, equipped with a deep understanding of technology. Your expertise in leading discovery processes and negotiating complex deals with institutional counterparts will be instrumental in propelling us to new heights.



Strategic Business Development:

  • Identify target clients and develop a robust sales strategy to pursue and secure key accounts.
  • Lead the execution of the sales strategy, including managing the sales and account management staff.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align business development strategies with overall company goals and objectives.

Partnership Development:

  • Drive the development of strategic channel partnerships to expand market reach and enhance business growth.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to foster growth and collaboration.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, specifically in the blockchain space, and adapt the sales strategy accordingly to ensure continued success.
  • Utilize market insights to identify new growth opportunities and drive revenue expansion.



  • Proven track record as a CBDO in fintech or regulated crypto companies, with a specific focus on crypto custodians is strongly preferred. 
  • Possess a customer-centric mindset to effectively identify target customers and drive the successful execution of the sales strategy.
  • In-depth understanding of the blockchain industry, including trends and developments is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and expansion.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and inspire teams.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to develop and execute effective business development strategies.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, is a prerequisite for this role. Arabic language is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
