We’re seeking a UX engineer that is able to rapidly prototype concepts, have strong interaction design foundations, and can apply these skills in envisioning how the future of live TV might intersect with opportunities across free-to-play, sports wagering, data visualization, and interactive content to create new and unique experiences.

Your work should demonstrate a deep understanding of UX principles and the capacity to combine technical know-how and design aesthetics, fluency in pixels and code to take an idea and help others recognize the potential by breathing life into it, and the ability to transform the mundane into delight through mastery of UI implementation and intelligent use of microinteractions and animations.

Strong cross-functional collaborators – effortlessly navigating discussions between engineering, design and product – are valued here, as we believe it to be a key ingredient in producing optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Build high-fidelity, functional prototypes that are expressive in communicating design intent to help validate and advance the future vision of our products

  • Partner with experience designers in conducting tests to quickly validate and iterate on prototypes
  • Partner with engineers to ensure that interactions and technologies used are

  • Contribute towards the implementation of new concepts, guidelines, and design patterns across multiple platforms
  • Proactively research emerging technologies that would enhance the customer experience and inform the direction of our product’s future
  • Utilize research findings, analytics and testing results to inform exploratory concepts and clearly communicate rationale behind design decisions.
  • Collaborate with UX researchers to conduct interviews and run tests (multivariate, usability, etc).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in prototyping or front-end development at a consumer-focused tech company, digital agency or comparable setting.
  • Experience designing game UI, sports and wagering interfaces.
  • Deep understanding of designing for mobile interfaces and the application of Apple’s HIG/Google’s Material Design Guidelines. 
  • Experienced in the execution of UX or HCI best practices.
  • Skilled in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Framer, Principle, etc.
  • A solid understanding of programming fundamentals.
  • Experienced in modern web technologies and standards including HTML5/CSS3/JS/React/Vue.
  • An excellent communicator who can clearly articulate interaction decisions and technical considerations.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with designers, engineers and product managers.
  • No ego when it comes to sharing your work or receiving feedback; you recognize that the most important goal is to quickly understand and solve around what’s best for our customers and the company.
  • A portfolio that highlights your process of defining and providing solutions for complex design problems.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience working across various device platforms (Web, Mobile, TV).
  • Track record of launching innovative features and unique yet usable solutions.
  • Experience developing prototyping frameworks for TV interfaces.
  • Skills in related disciplines such as motion graphics, 3D modeling, illustration or photography.
