About the Role:  

As the Director, Strategic Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the online shopping experience for our customers.  This role requires a strategic thinker who is passionate about providing the best customer experience while being innovative and resourceful. The individual will work closely with Marketing on key metrics like conversion and retention, create and maintain a prioritized roadmap for site optimization, and manage the overall execution of the Site Optimization Roadmap, while also coaching and mentoring Product Owners.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Strategic thinker and passionate about providing the best customer experience while being innovative and scrappy. Intuitional in understanding customer needs while shopping online.
  • Hands-on with Funnel Analytics and utilization of data to identify opportunities to improve customer experience and key metrics, specifically, Conversion and Retention.
  • Responsible for customer journey and conversion across both FSAStore and HSAStore.
  • Work closely with Marketing on key metrics like conversion and retention (owns conversions while Marketing owns retention, but both are shared metrics).
  • Create and maintain a prioritized roadmap for Site Optimization which includes specific focus on conversion, retention, and customer journey improvements with input from Marketing and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work closely with Analytics as well as be hands-on as needed to understand Funnel Analytics, Session Replay analytics, Conversion & Retention ML Models etc to identify customer pain points and conversion drivers.
  • Work with Consumer Research (as needed but at least annually) to conduct focus groups and/or survey(s) to identify opportunities to improve customer journey and customer experience
  • Responsible for overall execution of Site Optimization Roadmap across FSA and HSA.
  • Work with UI/UX to clearly define mock-ups for proposed improvements in customer journey, ways to test it (A/B Testing set-up working with Marketing), ways to implement it (working with Engineering) and ways to measure it (working with data/BI team).
  • Have a pulse on ecommerce customer experience/journey improvements in the industry as customers “expect” certain experiences as table-stakes. Help understand and prioritize them with the stakeholders balancing them with new/innovative ideas.
  • Manage, Coach, Mentor Product Owners and Junior Product Managers

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of product management experience focusing on site optimization
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing and customer journey mapping
  • Cross functional relationship building, communications, and partnering are critical to the success of this position
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Background in Continuous Improvement, Customer Care, or previous E-commerce experience

Compensation, Benefits, & Additional Details:

  • Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000
