The Sales Performance Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve sales performance and drive revenue growth. This role will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and other cross-functional departments to optimize sales strategies and enhance overall business performance.
Specific responsibilities:
Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement
Develop and maintain sales performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to track KPIs
Provide support in Quality Assuring our Sales specific Power BI dashboards
Conduct deep-dive analysis to understand the drivers of sales performance and identify areas for optimization
Collaborate with sales leadership to develop sales forecasts and targets based on historical data and market trends
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness, customer acquisition, and retention
Manage asset performance alerts, identifying trends and supporting Account Managers with actionable insight
Support Account Managers on ad hoc data insight and partner reporting requests
Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals
Stay in the know of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sales analytics and performance management
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
Minimum of 3+ years experience in sales analysis or business intelligence (E-Commerce industry preferred)
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics, SFCRM)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings in a clear and concise manner
