We are looking for a .NET Engineer to join a FinTech product and help us to add new payout destinations.

 
Who are we and what do we do?
FreySoft is a technology partner of an international FinTech company with branches in Britain, Poland, and Spain employing 800+ people. Our client's product is a platform for international payments in more than 150 countries: a mobile application that is used by more than 4 million people with hundreds of thousands of daily transactions!


How old is the project? The current stage of the project?
Over the last 2 years, the monolithic architecture has been transformed into more than 400 microservices. The new functionality that we create helps to reduce the cost of transactions for money transfer. Our specialists develop, test and support APIs. Also FreySoft integrates applications with payment systems and other external services. Part of the team is engaged in migration of previously integrated payment systems to a new version of the application.


What technologies do we use?
.Net + ASP.NET Core, docker, WCF, SOAP, REST, git, github, azure, aws, DI, xUnit.


It is important for us – a high level of responsibility, independence, communication skills.


Which professional skills are important to us?
— Over 3 years of commercial development experience;
— Over 2 years of development experience on .NET, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET (MVC and WebAPI) platforms;
— Understanding of basic design patterns;
— Experience in developing REST API and microservices;
— Insight into C# and .NET Framework;
— Experience in writing Unit tests;
— Experience in Test Driven Development.


Is English required? Yes. Conversational English of Upper intermediate and higher level.


What will you have to do?
— To monitor the quality of the code, to conduct code reviews of team members;
— Implement .Net Core microservices to integrate new correspondents to payment platform;
— Create RESTful microservices;
— Work closely with colleagues from the Polish and British offices;
— Daily communication with the team.


Team size and structure?
In total, the client has more than 500 technical specialists. There are 5 .NET engineers and 1 Business Analyst.


The terms:
Is there a probation period and how long does it last?
— Yes, 3 months.

What is the work schedule?
— Flexible schedule, starting from 9-11, (8 hours working day, 1-hour lunch);

Is it possible to work remotely for some days?
— Yes;

When, how and in what currency is the salary paid / calculated?
— At the end of the month in currency or Hryvnia, tied to the latest $ exchange rate.
