About The Role
We are looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to join the Centerstone team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the analysis and execution of investment banking advisory transactions across various industries. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to join a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in investment banking.
Responsibilities
- Develop financial models in Excel to value debt and equity for potential M&A and capital raising transactions
- Evaluate transactions using various valuation methods including comparables, precedents, and discounted cash flow
- Draft and review client-facing materials including investment memos, pitchbooks, and presentations
- Perform research and due diligence to support other analysts, associates, and partners with live transactions
- Support project coordination and both internal and client-facing communications
- Follow general industry trends and market development to make informed recommendations on opportunities
Requirements
- At least 3-4 years experience in investment banking
- Extremely strong Excel skills (solid VBA skills ideal)
- Proficiency in Powerpoint
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar
- Be familiar with finance, valuation, and accounting
- Extensive knowledge on how to model very well
- Ability to build a 3-statement financial model.
- Ability to work 9AM-8PM PST
- Excellent English, including an understanding of a wide array of idioms (assessed via written, phone, and video tests)
