What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Deliver full-cycle recruitment services across the Tech Team
  • Recruiting for roles in Engineering, Product, Design and Marketing 
  • Building rapport and strong partnership with hiring managers and executives 
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of suitable candidates to fill technical vacancies
  • Ensure recruitment requirements are captured, prioritized and delivered on time and within budget
  • Drive innovative and creative talent strategies, identifying non-traditional and diverse talent pools while building a strong pipeline
  • Conduct pre-screening phone interviews and onsite interviews 
  • Schedule and coordinate onsite interviews and hiring events
  • Research, plan and attend industry and FreshBooks recruitment events
  • Build relationships with universities and other educational institutions and attend job fairs  or offsite recruitment events as required
  • Drive delivery of a “best in class” candidate experience
  • Plan and participate in projects that enhance the employee value proposition and external brand
  • Work with the People & Culture team on initiatives to help maintain and improve on the amazing productive, fun, family culture we’ve built

You will thrive if you are:

  • An experienced recruiter with a minimum of 5+ years of Agency and/or internal corporate recruitment experience
  • Experienced in the Software Development and Tech/data industry
  • Experienced in the markets of The Netherlands and Central/Western Europe
  • Experienced in recruiting for Engineering, Product, Design and Marketing roles 
  • Fluent in English 
  • Theoretical knowledge of software tools, languages and software development 
  • Expertise in end to end recruitment activities and service delivery across the organization (hiring requirements, reporting, sourcing, assessment, onboarding etc.)
  • Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems - preferably Greenhouse ATS
  • Familiar with direct sourcing experience through Social Media Platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and change, while setting priorities and delivering on commitments against a defined strategy
  • Friendly and professional. Candidates feel at ease speaking with you
