FREENOW empowers smarter mobility decisions helping people to move freely and cities to thrive. The SRE Infrastructure team is responsible for providing a resilient, performant and secure infrastructure for maximising developer efficiency while at the same time being most cost effective.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our cloud based infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline, monitoring and logging stack
- Influence and create new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale distributed systems
- Engage in service capacity planning, software performance analysis and system tuning
- Plan and execute migrations of key services
- Coach other engineers with workshops and trainings about the latest developments of the platform
Our main tech stack includes AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab, Artifactory, OpenSearch, Prometheus
Your profile:
- Strong experience in Container Orchestration
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code
- Experience in setting up and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline
- Experience in setting up and maintaining a Centralized Log Management System
- A security conscious mindset
- A passion to eliminate toil by simplifying and automating as much as possible
- A systematic problem solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership
- The ability to script yourself out of a problem with Bash or Python
- 3+ years of work experience in related roles and responsibilities
