Remote EU Based
We are looking for a talented and motivated iOS Engineer for our Multi-Mobility Booking Team.
As part of a highly skilled cross-functional team which comprises 2 iOS Engineers, 3 BE Engineers, 2 Android Engineers, 1 Product Manager and headed up by a very technical Engineering Manager, the team is responsible for Booking, Reservation, and in-trip experience for Multi Mobility options as Scooter, eBikes, Mopeds, and Car Sharing. We are also responsible for developing some new Partner integrations, and an internal tool that simulates a Multi Mobility provider to support us in testing – The MockFleet.
The Team vision is: “We want our customers to have a seamless Multi Mobility Booking Experience” and we are all about Quality over Quantity, we do this by using Agile methodology and Pair Programming.
Some of the challenges you will face will be to create a product that works for all our Mobility solutions, from Cars to Bikes, and to ensure that all our weekly rides go exactly as it should. We would also look to you, as one of our Senior Engineers, to challenge the Status Quo and look at new solutions that will make our products better by having a state of the art code base and overall contribute to making our team a pleasure to work with.
To be successful in this role your tech stack must include a deep knowledge of:
- RxSwift and/or Combine, OpenCombine
- Cocapods and/or Swift Package Manager
And it would be awesome if you had some exposure to:
- Products that are multilanguage
- CI/CD pipelines
- Kanban and Scrum
We would expect the following from you in your first 30 – 60 days:

The interview process will be in 5 stages and should be completed in less than 4 weeks:
1st - Interview with one of our Talent Acquisition partners - this will be a get to meet you interview, sharing more details about you and discussing the role and FREE NOW in general.
2nd – Tech Challenge. Take home challenge and a chance for you to show us what makes you so good at what you do
3rd – Challenge Review. Two of our Senior Engineers will review your challenge with you, look at ways of improving it, challenge you on your decisions but also for you to defend your code. We are a non-egocentric organisation; we expect to be challenged and to challenge.
4th – Hiring Manager. Meet with the HM, opportunity to discuss your career, what is important to you, what can FREE NOW do to make you successful
5th – Meet the Team. Get to know your team and what makes them tick
