FREE NOW is looking for a highly data-driven individual to influence our marketplace dynamics with the best possible pricing strategy. You will constantly seek better ways to balance supply and demand developing and using tools such as surge pricing, driver quests, competitor intelligence, and many more still to be envisioned. We operate on an international scale connecting hundreds of thousands of ride hailing vehicles with millions of customers looking for the best mobility option at any given time.
Your Role:
- You will be the interface between our operational organisation and our data department tackling challenging pricing problems to maximize efficiency and maintain reliability in our ride hailing marketplace
- Find the best price points using data-driven methodologies to grow our business while keeping the perfect equilibrium between demand and supply at any given time for both driver and passenger
- Assess every market, share and pricing of competitors individually to arrive at a holistic dynamic pricing strategy combining all internal and external factors
You Profile:
- Degree in computer science, business studies, psychology, or another subject with a significant mathematical, statistical, or scientific focus
- Significant experience working in demand and supply driven business that largely relies on dynamic pricing
- Experience working in a data driven environment including an understanding of how to engage and influence decision makers
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and analytical mindset with the ability to use data to quickly root cause issues and solve highly challenging problems
