We are looking for Global Driver Growth Manager to own the international supply acquisition strategy and ensure we are prepared to deliver future growth targets.
In this role you will drive the collaboration with local markets to create and deliver a proposition for drivers while improving our passenger experience.
The Senior Operations Manager Driver Acquisition role is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on our portfolio of cities through defining the strategy for the growth of the driver base on the FREE NOW platform. This role is critical to the future growth of FREE NOW as it directly correlates to improving passenger experience by reducing wait times.
The Role:
- Define the strategy for the growth of the driver base on the FREE NOW platform
- Work closely with leaders across the company on topics ranging from analyses and experiments to multi-year vision
- Ensure supply is able to meet demand in line with business growth targets
- Be the voice of the Drivers in cross-functional strategy discussions and align with the leaders from Product Management, Design, Engineering and Data Science
- Communicate to senior regional ops leaders on projects/priorities; organize and lead effective meetings, collect and provides actionable feedback & communicate priorities and goals effectively
- Motivate and leverage existing and new staff to continually up-level their results, expectations, and stretch for increasingly higher levels of impact across all core operational metrics
- Analyze industry trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience of consulting / business intelligence / strategy or related experience; some high-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred.
- Quantitative data analysis, deep actionable insights, modeling, and advanced test plan design and analysis experience
- High energy and motivational leadership driven by personal influence and example with direct staff, peers, and senior leaders across all company functions
- Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a super-fast paced environment where new opportunities arise frequently. You need to be able to help, shelter or support your team as appropriate.
- You will have ideally worked in a tech/digital environment and understand how product, engineering, marketing, sales & operations fit together.
- You will be a confident self-starter with a bias to action.
- You will have strong communication skills and gravitas. Comfortable influencing at multiple levels
- Negotiation experience sourcing, resolving commercial issues and complex negotiations
- Ability to transition from big picture strategic thinking to implementation & speed mode
- You will have a data-driven approach and operational mindset. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong analytical skills, excellent time-management and organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in
- You are comfortable in an environment that constantly challenges you, in a stretch between elements of management consulting, project management, and pure hustle.
