This position is a highly visible role combining elements of strategy and shareholder management across an extremely fast-moving mobility tech business. You will be the executive teams’ partner, identifying, sourcing, and supporting the execution of a range of strategic initiatives and opportunities to help the company achieve its medium and long-term strategic goals. We are looking for a highly motivated problem solver to join our team. This role will offer you exposure across all departments and levels with unfiltered insight into how we make decisions and grow the business.
Your tasks:
- Establish a comprehensive understanding of the group’s portfolio and the ride hailing industry to assess growth opportunities
- Develop strategic perspectives on new market and business opportunities
- Set up and develop business plans together with the verticals to build a reliable and profound case which is capable of transforming our strategy into substantiated financials and unit economics
- Prepare management presentations and documents to convince top management of strategic priorities and new strategic initiatives
- Prepare supervisory board presentations and deliver business insights to our shareholders on a regular basis
- Identify and develop areas of future cooperation with existing and new partners
- Support organisational change, strategy and integrations
- Assist the business units in defining their individual market strategies & how they relate to the overall group strategy
- Analyse performance within the business units to identify learnings that can be shared amongst the group
- Take the lead in rolling out these best practices, project manage their implementation & be responsible for their performance
- Build & continuously improve the operating model and define how the business units should work together
Your profile:
- Completion of a relevant university degree or further academic education
- 1-3 years of experience in Corporate Development, Strategy or Management Consulting
- Ability to communicate strategic initiatives effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
- Self-confident and engaging presence complimented by strong social and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally effectively with tech, product, marketing or operations colleagues
- Self-starter and ability to build up programmes and processes from scratch: be ready to roll-up your sleeves and get things done
- Strong analytical, strategic-thinking and business partnering skills
- Excellent skills in MS Office, experience in Google Suite (Spreadsheet, Slides) is a plus
- Fluency in English required, German is beneficial but not essential
