As a Head of Product Operations you will be designing an integral part of how FREE NOW works as an organisation by building a team of central and in-market Product specialists with a strong bias towards action who take ownership of both sides of the interface between local markets and centrally organised Tech/Product organisations.
Your task:
- Build your team of in-market Product Specialists and central Product Operations Managers as the key communication interface for all product stakeholders
- Perform strategy definition, planning, target setting and day-to-day performance management of a team Product Operations Managers and Product Specialists
- Report directly to the CPO and work closely together with product leadership and teams from all areas of the product landscape of FREE NOW across 3 tech hubs
- Define processes, tools and work modes for handling numerous kinds of communication flows, e.g. bugs, feature & configuration requests as well as for spreading product knowledge and data analyses in the decentralised organisation
- Own the most critical interface for the FREE NOW product department to 100 local markets in 9 countries
- Work closely with product/tech and operations leaders on setting up and maintaining processes and structures for creation, alignment and communication of top priority initiatives for implementation in 20+ product-oriented teams
Your profile:
- Significant experience in Product leadership roles; some high-growth or startup experience strongly preferred
- Experience in working in decentralised organisations and interfacing with Operations teams preferred
- Strong communication skills and gravitas, comfortable influencing at multiple levels
- Previous experience in leading successful product teams, driving change, preferably in an international, multilingual environment
- Ideally, you will have experience in working in and/or leading Product Operations teams
- High level of commitment, flexibility and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Business proficiency in written and spoken English, other languages would be a plus
- Readiness to travel regularly to FREE NOW offices all over Europe
