The International B2G Sales Manager (m/f/d) will develop tools, processes and strategies to drive new commercial partnerships with local & national public sector institutions be it local government services, health care, education or other public services.

As part of the International Operations and Business Development team the role holder will develop key public sector & government accounts and drive increased revenue through this channel.

Working in the Hamburg HQ you’ll be a central subject matter expert for all markets and support the strategic development of this key channel.

 

The Role:

  • Identify addressable market across key markets
  • Drive engagement both directly and through local business development teams
  • Supporting team with creation of bids and tender responses to win client business
  • Establish standardised approaches for business development, tendering, partner onboarding and ongoing account development
  • Drive key business objectives and sales strategy and realign into tactical business actions to cascade into Sales team to achieve.
  • Assist Sales teams in the creation of tactical and strategic account and business plans. Proactively align appropriate resource to ensure that the plans can be achieved.
  • Actively participate in the sales leadership team and in cross-business initiatives where required.
  • Manage compliance of Public Sector frameworks and contracts, promoting the FREE NOW programme
  • Assist with responses to bids & tenders as required
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant contractual obligations
  • Build a knowledge of the relevant assigned vertical and a network of influencers within the vertical.

 

Requirements:  

  • Must be experienced in public sector business
  • Be familiar with public tender rules and processes
  • Well related into state level, local/municipal institutions, public held hospitals as well as universities
  • Three (3+) plus years selling services related products and services.
  • Quantifiable sales track record demonstrated by increasing responsibilities, growth in territory and quota
  • Direct selling expertise, 'hunter' mentality. Working knowledge of channel sales model and utilizing the channel to drive revenue
  • Strong business acumen and professionalism. Leadership, accountability and self-starter qualities required
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a fast paced environment where new opportunities arise frequently
  • Understanding of how to engage and influence decision makers and have excellent communication skills
  • Driven - you are motivated to find solutions to problems and constantly go the extra mile
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing and personable you have the ability to think on your feet and work independently and also proactively work with others to find solutions to issues.
  • Excellent customer focus, strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a dynamic sales organization required
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills as well as excellent communications skills
  • Experience working in a multi-tiered and multidivisional corporation a plus
