What you can expect
We work in small multifunctional and diverse teams where you'll find people from all around the world. Our main goal is to make ride-hailing companies autonomous ready. We believe that shuttle service and autonomous driving are really close to each other. Therefore the team will focus on three main areas:
- Autonomous experience: This includes a rider app, in-vehicle experience (e.g. ride-simulation on a tablet), a safety driver app (yes, we still need humans for a few more years) and features for autonomous vehicle interaction (e.g. car body functions)
- Shuttle functionality: We believe autonomous vehicles should be shared as a default. As we have full control over the car we focus, beside a great user journey, on optimizing pickup rate and pooling algorithms in close collaboration with our Data Science team
- Routing and Mapping: A human driver has a lot of knowledge around the street conditions. We need to simulate this for our future Robo-Taxi and we will build our own mapping and routing capabilities.
To be clear. You will build something no one has built before. Therefore we will make fast decisions, change the path where necessary and expect individual ideas and impulses from every engineer.
Tech stack
Here you will be able to find:
- Our technology stack is mainly based on Swift, but we are also not afraid of getting our hands dirty with few Objective-C code
- Because we move fast, we have a nice CI/CD with fastlane
- To pump our CI, we always keep our Unit Test on point
- We keep evolving and updating our app to be always up-to-date in a nice multi module architecture
- Reactive programming is part of our daily life
- We are able to build communication with server using GRPC (HTTP/2.0)
- We also work on some well built SDK's to be integrated by other apps
